Morning Mist Cottage is now a 4 star accommodation as a result of our renovations this spring, 2011. With our new deck and patio door last year we have new pine floors, heated tiles, and new roofs on all the buildings.Morning Mist has increased its character and charm and offers you a home away from home with all the amenities; full kitchen, wood burning fireplace, outdoor fireplace, wireless, cedar sauna and bedrooms to accommodate 2 to 10 guests; the ultimate retreat. Skylights and an old fashioned stone and brick fireplace add to the ambiance and are open to the living room / dining room. Two full 4-piece baths and one half bath in the loft, our social/therapeutic 9 person outdoor spa, queen/king pillow top beds and soothing furniture provide comfort with a country feel.

About Pauline Raymond Blades:
Morning Mist Cottage was only an idea when Pauline and her husband Paul bought the land they were married on over three decades ago. Their four children, now young adults grew up at the cottage during the summer months and weekends in the off season. Pauline, a music educator and holistic health practitioner began to develop the property as a rental accommodation in 2001. Since 2008 she has been living and teaching in Nassau in the Bahamas and operates Morning Mist Cottage both in NS and from afar in the Bahamas with the aid of terrific staff. She owns and operates Halifax Executive Suites in the heart of Halifax overlooking the beautiful green space known as the Halifax Commons.
